CVD? $? 30 days 7 of 10 DVD-MP3 Comments: This is great hd dvd player , works great. upconverts regular dvd good. Plays double layerd dvd's . works with patched dvds .i converted alot from pal to ntsc , and made them region free. only thing it doesnt play divx and pal dvds so ye . buy it , try it

CVD? $250 5 days 8 of 10 Comments: Plays HD-DVD titles very well. Upconverts standard dvd titles really well also. Burned DVD media seems to work fine. Please note that all the DVD+R & RW media I tested was set to booktype DVD-ROM Music CD playing is somewhat shaky. I noticed dropouts in the music at times on disks that play perfectly on my Denon cd player. This HS-A30 is on firmware 1.0/1.1. I plan to update to the available 1.3 - maybe that will help the cd playing? But in all honesty - I have no plans to use this for cd playing ever as no dvd type player can compete with my audiophile Denon cd player - so who cares . . .
