MP3 WMA CVD? $50 120 days 1 of 10 DVD-WMA DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX XviD Comments: Ok, these units are shipped out by the truckload from DirecTV. Sound quality is pore video quality is marginal. I have 4 of these, three are the PDV-70X and one is the PDV-700. Not a single one of them will play a complete movie without stuttering, or sound desynch. The hotter they get the worse they are. Even though it will Read DVD+/-r media they work the same as DVD. Aparently the quality control people are not allowed to watch a full movie on them. If you are signing up for DTV ask for an additional $50 off your bill instead of the player, you will be happier.

CVD? $? 7 days 1 of 10 Comments: Very disappointed in the player. Originally received it as a promotional giveaway from DirecTV. Wouldn't spend $5 for it. Aspect ratio is all messed up. When I try to play a 4:3 video on the 16:9 screen, the player stretches the 4:3 image to fill the whole 16:9 screen so everything looks too fat. NO WAY TO CHANGE THIS. Changing the "TV Type" in the set up menu does NOTHING. the telephone Customer and Tech service are pathetic!
