N/A 8 of 10 miniDVD/cDVD DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: A good little player for its time, can be 'multizoned' but im not sure how ( i just had it done in hongkong) plays SVCD but basicalls just reads the mpg file, no special features available, can play DVD-r's but is fussy about the brand of disk (jumpy picture etc)

CVD? $350 N/A 10 of 10 miniDVD/cDVD Comments: Bought it on January 1999. I needed a multi-region player with CD-R capabilities. After reading a review in a magazine I ordered it from Honk Kong. At the time, this player was cheaper (inc. shipping) and better quality than the official european Sony models. The video and sound quality is still impressive compared to today's players and it's design is incredible. In Asia "Region 3" players are not region locked by the manufacturers , so there was no need for a chip-mod on it. I have had no problem since. the XVCD quality is superb.
