Great SACD player Work fine with MP3 and SVCD and VCD I tryed a huge number of DVD-R DVD+R DVD+RW and DVD-RW and I could not find a single problem. MP3 Tag over his (little) display Pay attention only with old BeSweet AC3 conversion (there is a bug) in case use ffmpeg to create a AC3 track

MP3 WMA CVD? $500 N/A 2 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-WMA MP3 long filename DivX MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Comments: This Sony DAV-SA30 Can NOT play DVD R, DVD+R, DVD-R, onluy bought dVD's, audio vd's, cd'r with jpg and mp3 's + sacd's. Self ripped DVD's don't play on this machine!! Don't buy it when you want to play your own burned dvd's !!!

CVD? $500 N/A 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX Comments: Tried DVD-R cheap media and worked fine (CD-STORE, Princo etc). Good 5.1 audio section for movies, not so impressed by SACD and CD sound (a good hi-fi system is still better). Seems to emphasize low freq, but the higher frequencies sounds not so brilliant to my hears.

CVD? $300 N/A 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: Played a DVD-RW recorded using Ulead software from home movies. Played an MP3 encoded disc, and will reportedly find MP3's nested up to 8 folders deep. Played a JPEG filled CD-R as a slideshow, and allowed access to individual files. Reportedly it will also play SACD's. The DVD-RW that was used was a very cheap, unbranded disc, bought for £1, which is around $1.50.
