CVD? $? over 1 year 6 of 10 Comments: Good with (S)VCD support. Divx/xvid are ok, you could have bad luck if one or another doesn't playback to well. HD's not supported. MPEG2 might be supported if extension are put to .ASF ? Though codec has to be the (S)VCD standards. Not the best with FF/rewind and get back in sync. Subtitle support quite OK, even supports the extra language designation (xxx.NOR.SRT .SE.SRT .DK.SRT .EN2.SRT .EN.SRT) for multiple subtitle playback. Very ok to have this choise when trying different subtitles for a TV show/series where subtitles are all different from the current timing code. Not able to choose or display subtitle to the divx file. You need the same filename. Not able to regionfree-hack my DVD player. Remote is too well used. OK with MP3 and slow with highquality pictures. Otherwise, boring display. Too bad if having all MP3, JPG and AVI on same disk, folder, as you have to choose what to display (audio, photo, movie). This is a cheap, descent player for normal use, easy for use. 500,- NOK when buying for 4-5 years ago?

CVD? $? 30 days 6 of 10 DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX XviD Comments: This player doesn't play ALL Xvid files, but I had some an earlier player had trouble with (buggy playback) that this one does flawlessly. When I tried a DVD with MP3 files on it, I got a very odd picture. Although the files played, I got only the first character of each of the words in the folder names, with underscores in between, instead of the full or partial names. I inserted a CD with MP3 files on it, but it wouldn't read the disc (might have been cheap media). It reads CD-G, so the Karaoke name on the front isn't just for show! The player has occasionally said "no disc" when I've inserted a disc, but will often play it after I open and close the tray again (that happened with a pressed DVD once, a DVD that's played every other time I've tried it).
