CVD? $60 120 days No rating Comments: This player plays backed-up movies on DVD-Rs just fine, but artifacts and stutters like crazy with movies converted from DivX and the like into VOBs. This seems pretty strange to me, but I haven't been able to get one of these to play properly yet.

CVD? $50 2 days 6 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-MP3 MPEGISO Comments: tested a burned movie..worked fine. tested mp3, mpeg, homemade dvd, vcd, svcd..all worked well...picture is very good...better than apex a million times and believe it or not..better than philips and magnavox that I had....sound is ok, of course depends on speaker quality of home theatre system or tv set...I love the remote control...its large and actuall normal size remote rather than those dinky small crappy remotes...so far no trouble..but then only had it for a while...will wait and post any boo boos if any occurr in future...incidently, I tried elf dvd and it played all the way through without switching to BW.

CVD? $50 1 days 5 of 10 Comments: I bought this DVD Player because I saw a review on here that said it plays DVD+R. No, it does not. I tried different brand DVD media and none of the DVD+R's worked. I have had no luck playing any +R's I have recorded with my GO Video DVD recorder.

CVD? $50 3 days 1 of 10 JPG/JPEG MPEGISO Comments: This is a cheap player with limited features. It did play movie back ups from DVD-R and DVD+R with no problems but it does not like DVD-RW, DVD+RW, or CD-RW.

CVD? $60 14 days 3 of 10 Comments: Had to return first unit I bought at Wal-mart because some DVDs (Elf) would switch to B/W half way through movie. does play SVCD, but image is B/W only... not happy

CVD? $? 2 days 8 of 10 Comments: I picked this player up because my old apex AD-1000 was starting to fall apart. The major requirement for me was to be able to play VCD files which it does. I never really warmed up to the apex. My main complaint was that you had to manually press an on off switch at the machine. The apex was a very noisy and crude player with limited features. The sanyo is a much more refined player with tons of features. A real bargain at $55 at Walmart.

CVD? $? 60 days 8 of 10 Comments: A fairly solid little unit (picked it up at Wal-Mart for $60), but I can't seem to get it to play DVD-RW media - it seems to want to access the data on the disc rather than play the files...

CVD $60 N/A 9 of 10 Comments: I just bought this at walmart for $60. I've had a Sanyo DWM-370 for about 3 years and its still plays great and plays everything I put in it. I'm glad to see Sanyo makes another one that plays everything. I got this one to replace an Apex for my 2nd TV . The Sanyo players have a sharper picture than Apex. So far I've tried DVD-r, svcd, cvd, and vcd, and played a svcd 2 dvd made with dvdlab.
