CVD? $80 90 days 1 of 10 Comments: 3 months after purchasing the DVD player has stopped working. My IT guy says the motherboard has a problem. No warranty just wasted $79.

It has gotten so apparent, that Wal-Mart has a special phone number to call Sanyo back to report the problem, then on Wal-Mart's dime, you have to ship the unit back to Sanyo for repair. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

MP3 WMA CVD? $90 3 days 6 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-WMA DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX XviD Comments: Bought this unit to add DVD capability to the bedroom, and to replace an aging RCA 6233 VHS VCR. The unit is quiet, Plays DVDs, DVD-R burned via Macintosh programs (Toast 6, DVDSP3, iDVD). Does not play VCDS, SVCDS. Plays Audio CDS fine, CD-Rs and CD-RWs. Cannot Play WMA or MP3 discs. Aside from the lack of support for VCDs/SVCDS and MP3s, I also rate it a 6 becasue on the VHS side, the audio dips whenever the VHS selection is chosen ( while regular tv is playing) and although commercial VHS playback is fine, recorded tapes from other VCRs in the house dip in audio when played. Yet, recorded VHS tapes using this unit play back exceptionally well. For what i need it for ( VHS recording, occasionaly DVD playing) it is a good enough unit, but not the best. bought at Walmart in-store for $89.99, have seen marked down to $80 even.
