CVD? $? 180 days 2 of 10 Comments: This is a terrible DVD player. It has problems reading most DVDs. I am visiting this site to try and get some help! I have stored the player, in apparent mint condition in my garage, hoping that some day I would find a cure for its crappy performance. Now, I thinking of dumping it, but I am concerned about polluting the environment.

MP3 VBR WMA CVD? $100 N/A 10 of 10 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: Very sharp picture quality, 5.1 decoder with RCA out, Stereo downmix RCA out, RGB-SCART, Svideo, composite and component connectors should be enuf for everyone, at least in its price group! Region code and macrovision can be hacked. Highly recommended if you are looking for a cheap performer without missing important features.

N/A 10 of 10 Comments: For the price of 99e at CityMarket here in Finland this is a great player. Since I'm watchin mostly svcds this player is perfect for me, and int's not to expensive either. Highly recomended.

CVD? $150 N/A 8 of 10 Comments: This is a good player for a budget consumer. One of the best features is the built-in DD 5.1 decoder. So you don't need an expensive home theatre amplifier to hear 5.1 sound.

CVD? $150 N/A 9 of 10 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX Comments: Good player. Plays all sort of discs and even understands MP3's from folders! Picture is good and for the European countries the possibility to play and change via PAL / NTSC is superb. Also haves possibility to connect headphones (2 of them to be exact) to the front with volyme control. If you can this player ~200$ / € I say it's worth of buying. Ability to play SVCD with subs and tracks is great! The only quiz messing my mind is what's the code for removing region- and macrovision protections? Some webpages are asking 2£ for the code and I think some of you know it. The codes reading above (2918 or somewhat) are _not_ working or there is somekind of trick / way for pushing them? Anyone can help?

CVD $150 N/A 8 of 10 MP3 long filename Comments: I have test following discs. - dvd - audio - vcd - svcd (chapters/svcd subtitles) - xvcd bitrate 3000-5000 kbit/s vbr/cbr - xsvcd bitrate 3000-5500 kbit/s vbr/cbr (352x576 and 720x576) - cvd - mp3 disc 64-? kbit/s, i have test 320 kbit/s works with folders.

CVD? $150 N/A 9 of 10 miniDVD/cDVD MP3 long filename Comments: Overall, HIGHLY recommended. One of the few players that played ALL MP3 formats and can synchronise VCD/SVCD/XVCD/XSVCD audio and video correctly - and also has very good picture quality. Tried several different CD/CD-RW media - all worked well. Used NERO with Daemon tools for VCD and SVCD (because NERO doesn't write chapters correctly with VCD/SVCD produced by DVD2SVCD). VCD/SVCD playback is very good. DVDs play very well. My main gripe with this player is that it doesn't have a full metal case (very few players do). It looks good / handles well. Uses the C-Cube chipset - which is superb video quality. Supports composite video as well as s-video and the common (and very mediocre) single video with L+R audio. Highly recommended by a -very fussy- consumer.
