MP3 VBR WMA CVD? $? 7 days 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Comments: great dvd player - ABSOLUTE BARGAIN - got it for £23.50 (inc vat) at morgan computers, oxford st. plays mp3, vcd, svcd, jpeg, mpg, vob , dvd-r almost everything except divx. Only problem I had was audio sync problem (audio a few steps behind video). BIG Shame for such a great player. has anyone else had this problem. I desperately want to get a replacement but am worried that i may still get the same problem.

CVD? $40 2 days 4 of 10 Comments: Nice unit OK with commercial DVDs but although it plays +R and +RW discs, when you rewind them (<<), the TV display sticks after a second or two. So basically no rewind facility with +R and +RW discs. :(

Isn't perfect but at the price its as near as you'll get

CVD? $70 N/A 7 of 10 JPG/JPEG Comments: Got this to view all the Video-8 transferred to SVCD. SVCD's created so far seem fine ( better than analogue transfer to VHS by far ) ( 30 minutes is a good limit for human endurance of home movies! ) TDK CD-R seems to work fine . Also used Princo CD-RW . These were fine until while experimenting they had been written to about 10 times . Play fine on PC CD / CD Writer but now useless in DVD player . Sent Ronin a question and got response in 48 hours over christmas . Video capture using Vitualdub and PC-TVRave . Sometimes perfect results , sometimes some dropped frames . Converted to MPEG using TMPGEnc . ( Only program that seems worth processor time or money ). Short title sequences genersated using EditStudio and insereted using AppendAVI ( Virtualdub ) Burnt to CD using VCDEasy 1.1.5 Player occaisionally freezes when playing commercial DVD's . Need's to be powered down then back up . Will then play OK for ages . Will wait and see on this one ! If it were not for the occassional freezes I would rate machine higher . Multi-region hack for 215F worked fine . Just power up , wait a couple of seconds for power-up to complete then tap the numbers into remote . ( Machine would only play region 2 before hack )
