CVD? $500 N/A 8 of 10 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX Comments: I tested with Ritek 4x DVD-R Media. I am assuming that it would work for most others. The price I paid was about 2 years ago. It really isn't even known if this system is made anymore. The last time I called RCA support they had a hard time finding a code for replacement surround speakers.

Althought, it can play MPEG2 using the VCD Header Trick (VCD non-standard). It has Dolby Pro-Logic II, so it is a good choice for a console or for Audio CDs. Also, MPEG Multichannel doesn't work with this Player (even in DPLII surround!).

CVD? $400 N/A 5 of 10 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: This unit worked great for me for the first two weeks. Now when i turn it on it goes off after 1.5 seconds. i took it back to the store, and it worked fine. i took it home again and it still wont work. The guy at the store said i have dirty power. i tried plugging it to my pc's ups and still no better. sigh.

N/A 8 of 10 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: This unit sems to work great for me. No complaints at all. Some of my VCD's seem to play slightly faster than normal. It could be due to my compression rates though.

WMA CVD $300 N/A 1 of 10 miniDVD/cDVD JPG/JPEG DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX MPEGISO Comments: don't waste your time on buying this RCA RTRDVD1, it suck. 200 watt total was just way to weak. send it back the following day. Had trouble with the lens. It would not read auido, but can read the movie picture.(dvd,vcd) There is nothing wrong w/the wire connection, because the sat/vcr soure work great.
