CVD? $900 N/A 8 of 10 Comments: This device includes a tuner (radio), 5 speakers + subwoofer, remote control. Test 1: * OEM Mitsumi CD-writer * WinOnCD software * on cheapest CD-R(W) discs available: cd-audio or VCD video are read by the XVDV55 without a problem Test 2: * Pioneer 104 DVD-writer * MyDVD, InstantCD software (bundled with Pioneer 104) * Pioneer DVD-R(W) discs: DVD-video is read by the XVDV55 without a problem. Advanced features like subtitels, chapters etc. not tested yet. * cheapest CD-R(W) discs available: cd-audio is read by the XVDV55 without a problem. VCD video not tested yet with this burner+software, but because it worked well in the first test I assume it will work fine.
