Initially I had to do lot of hunting in local market to get my hands on this one as I had read reviews and articles praising this one. This player scored above the Yamaha S657. Pioneer does not disappoint.

MP3 WMA CVD? $200 2 days 9 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-WMA DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DVD-MPEGISO Comments: + supports long filenames and easy to make region-free with modded firmware + plays all types of DivX and XVid (tried DivX up to 4000kb/s) but haven't tried with packed bitstream + supports AC3 audio (5.1) with DivX + 5.1 decoder built-in + can play pure MPEG2 files (program- or elementary stream) or separate .vob files from DVD - doesn't recognize .wav or .ac3 files - can't play WMV9 - MPEGISO (MPEG2) on CD skipping badly. - sometimes looses .mp3 audio from DivX footage, especially when seeking several DivX files on same disk - if there's video on disk packed with some other codec (DV, MJPEG) then player freezes totally. But...awesome player in this price category!
