MP3 WMA CVD $175 N/A 10 of 10 miniDVD/cDVD DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX Comments: I have had this dvd player for about 4-5 years and its JUST starting to have issues.. i havent cleaned the lens in a while but im sure there are tons of smoke deposits on it and dust... and also extensive use i've killed this thing! Honestly of the things that i care about (excluding mp3 on a dvd and divx on a dvd, both of which i dont care about) this player is awesome and because of this player and the one my parents have i always recommend pioneer to everyone i know.

N/A 5 of 10 Comments: I have had this unit for almost 2.5 years now. After the first year, it stopped recognizing and playing conventional audio CD's... I had to get the CD/DVD laser pickup replaced. Now, it can no longer play DvD's (movies) in the drive. I used to be a big Pioneer fan... but I think this one has been a big lemon. Wben it was working, it was fine (which is why I gave it a 5)

N/A 9 of 10 DVD-MP3 Comments: Tested do far: warious CD-R and CD-RW HP DVD-R+, Sony DVD-RW+, Verbatim DVD -RW, no problems. The only thing missing from a 10 is lack of MP3.

CVD? $125 N/A 10 of 10 Comments: This DVD Player is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It is a Pioneer (the other two single disc players I have are Pioneer and the remote control layout is very intuitive), it has a 5 disc changer, and most importantly, plays the DVD+RW discs that I burn on my PC. I emailed Pioneer and they told me the unit did not support the format, but I went on reports from THIS website and I was steered in the right direction. I just set it up and LOVE it. Highly recommend this player. Now I'm off to watch DVD's. Night!

CVD? $250 N/A 8 of 10 Comments: This player has played everything i have thrown at it. i just tested it with dvd+rw and it worked fine. The only downflaw i have found with this player is that it has some problems navigating a dvd menu. it will start to play and then stop and you have to hit menu again on the remote to get something to come up. it all depends on the dvd and how the menu structure is.

I have played VCD's, SVCDs', xVCD's, xSVCD's on both CDr and CDrw, they all work great. You can setup a program to jump from one disk to the next to the next, so you don't even have to put down the beer to grap the remote. Again, I love this dvd player. Jonny

N/A 8 of 10 Comments: The only thing that is no good bout this dvd player has to be the fact that it doesnt play mp3. I dont care if you burn movies on tissue paper this dvd will play it. Ive burned vcd and svcd and they all play no problem. I also got the pioneer dvd 333 and it is just as good but the 503 is a 5 disc for lazy people like me LOL :>

N/A No rating Comments: This was my first DVD player. I bought it at Costco for $180. I only bought it so I could play my VCDs. It has played every vcd I have made, with every brand. I have not put a DVD in it yet because I have made so many VCD movies. This player has been working great.
