MP3 WMA CVD? $100 7 days 10 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-WMA DVD-MP3 Comments: i returned me zenith dvb-410 that dvd player had bad audio problems.. but enough of tht zenith disgrace.. the pioneer Dv-275 is the best DVD PLAYER I HAD. i been throught 5 dvd players and this one blows them out of the water.... excl. picture and sound, player svcd,vcds i burned on noname cd-r's....I STICK WITH THIS ONE FORSURE DOOODD....

CVD? $100 30 days 9 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename DivX Comments: I have been using this player for a month and a half now. I did not want to give a report until I tried out a DVD-R Dual Layer disc (which it does play, tried Verbatim with nero at 2.4 x speed). Pros: -Player is pretty solid. -No motor noise when you try different media disc. -Good dvd decode. -Plays all Midea disc that I have marked off at the top. -Remote is good. -It also plays MP3 on DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW. cons: -Does not play divx. -Supports long file name but the menu does not give it enough space to display it (very poor planning and logic) -Does not let you have repeat/shuffle playback when mp3 is on DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW Conclusion: There is a model up that actually plays divx but it is only sold in the UK >_<;; So I will have to settle for this solid piece of joy until Pioneer decides to bring the DivX model to North America. Go out and buy this DVD Player, it is a very solid purchase.

CVD? $? 1 days 10 of 10 JPG/JPEG MP3 long filename Comments: Bought a Samsung DVD-P242 1-Disc DVD Player from Future Shop since it said it worked with both + and - DVD media. It did not work with any of that media so I returned it for the Pioneer DV-275. This machine apears identical to my other Pioneer DVD player the DV-363S (The remote is the same on both machines). The DV-275 reads everything. Both + and - DVD media, CD-R and CD-RW plus MP3 and JPEG. This is an excellent value at $130 Canadian and I would recommend it highly. I have used the DV-363S for several months now and have found no weaknesses in it.

CVD? $? 60 days 9 of 10 Comments: If you're are looking for a good DVD, CD, VCD, SVCD player at a reasonable price...that's your pick ! I know this player do a lot more than only what I've mentioned but that what I was looking for and I finally got it at a good price at Future Shop. So...maye you can find it at an even better price on ebay...just try it ! Playing every VCD I've tried...even on cheap CD-R !!!! Try it...I swear, you'll get some for your $$$ !!!!

No skipping and reads even my cheap dvd-r's that I have. That's all I have to say since that's all I look for in a player.

CVD? $80 N/A 5 of 10 MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: Got this at best buy. Good things, design is sharp and the picture playback seems good. Bad thing, MP3 playback is useless. File system is hard to navigate and space for full file name is limited so it's hard to tell what song you are picking. As well, it does not sort files properly (ex. file "something - 10..." plays before "something - 1..."). There is no RANDOM playback feature for MP3 files and if your cd contains both pictures and MP3s in subfolders it will display the pictures in the first folder and then skip those MP3s and move onto the next folder... which is odd. Also, for some reason there is a random playback feature for DVD movies... why this is needed I don't know, but the fact that this is there for movies and not MP3 playback is unacceptable. Oh, and if you don't have a progressive scan TV and you happen to turn this feature on in the menu you may get stuck as your screen will turn black. :(
