CVD? $? over 1 year 8 of 10 Comments: I tested about 150 AVCHDs on DVD+R(-R) with 1280x720p. And approx. 350 avi s (90%xvid, 10% divx) Superb Audio and Video-quality. The player works fine with poor coded material too. I use the internal Audio HD-Decoder of the player with DTS-HD/Master-BluRays because of my old Yamaha DD SurroundAmplifier missing dts-Decoder. The Pioneer is very very well on this item. With AVCHD it s important to finish the DVD and use AC3 with 448kB. Some issues (5%) sync-Problems with avi s on DVD. These avi s are played correct on XBOX360. There s no possibility to choose audio-delay on BDP-51FD. This is the most bad issue on this superb player. I use Firmware 1.65. There is no upscaling to 1280x720p, but I use direct-Video to my 720p-Pioneer-Plasma. This rocks.

CVD? $? 60 days 8 of 10 Comments: I brought my Blu pay player at Best Buy for 200.00 and I have burned CD +R and CD -R DVD Disk using Movie DVD Maker and ImTOO DVD Creator both worked very well playing the disk I also used a menu creation program and added the files to the .vob files before I burned the disk both the menu versions and the DVDs I made without the menus worked fine the programs are trail versions and have a watermark on the output files the ImTOO DVD creator watermark is not that big a deal and the quality of the DVD resolutions were much better. I am going tpo buy the ImTOO Software you can find it searching on goggle very easy. I plan on buying a Pioneer Receiver to go with my Pioneer Blu ray Player. O like the big look of the components It reminds me of stereo's I had in High School the solid look and the pioneer has 7.1 Audio output try and find that on a Samsung or another model. I was lucky to find this one at Best Buy I would recommend it if you don't care about a Internet connection for BD Live, I just want to watch the movie LOL. I upgraded the firmware by calling Pioneer and I got the disk in a week firmware upgrade to 1.39 version which is fine this player has lots of features and was over 500.00 when it came out. LOL
