CVD? $? 180 days 2 of 10 Comments: I chose this player as it claims to play SVCD, but it couldn't handle the audio from my CDR collection which consists of Youtube vids converted with VDownloader.

CVD? $? 3 days 1 of 10 Comments: Bought this DVD as I had always had good luck with Philips. It simply does not play DVD-R media. Movies skip, pause, pixelate, etc. Didn't even bother trying DVD+R or SVCD as I just got pissed at the rotten player and disconnected it. Wish I could return it because it is simply junk

CVD? $40 7 days 10 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DivX Comments: Cant ask for more. DVD player really does do what it says on the box. It plays everything you through in it. Pal to ntsc conversion is perfect. Compact thin design and great sturdy material. Great little DVD player for the money. Worked awesome with burned media!!! Loads disk quickly and decodes smoothly.

CVD? $40 1 days 2 of 10 Comments: Played comercial disks. Did not play most of my DVD-R disks which played fine on my older Apex player. Hope Best Buy will take it back!

CVD? $40 14 days 8 of 10 DivX XviD DVD-MPEGISO Comments: I primarily bought this to watch downloaded episodes of some of my favorite shows. Has played 90% of DivX/Xvid files I've tried. I believe the problems with the 10% not working are encoding not the DVD player itself. Plays almost all my burned movies with only one exception so far. Both PAL and NTSC work fine. Overall this is a great DVD player for general viewing. I would not recommend it to someone with a HDTV but works great with my 25" bedroom set.
