CVD? $60 60 days 1 of 10 Comments: Works ok for about 1 hour then starts to breakup and freeze doesnt matter if it dvdr or original Think there must be summat up with this one cant update the firmware either as it wont despite 5 different tries recognise the disk. going back to shop as its a bag of nails

CVD? $60 1 days 8 of 10 Comments: Quiet motor. Outputs DTS bitstream via coax despite lack of DTS mark on the packaging. Nice looking remote.

CVD? $? 3 days 10 of 10 Comments: Cheap and Cheerful, much needed xmas gift. Very slim and sleek design. Quality well laid out Remote Control (To eject disks hold down STOP (it's in the manual)) Not had a chance to test all disks on it yet, but where my aging Sony used to skip chapters during DVD+R playback, the Philips has no such problems. Only 2-Channel audio though. So if you've no need of 5.1 then it's highly recommended.

I bought it at a store, confident that what the guy told was true (that it would play DVDs from any region) and...surprise! It was bulls..t!! But after I followed the simple steps you indicated at this site, it plays any region!!! You guys rock!!! Thank you!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!! (NOTE: I posted this same message at the DVP 3020K information page @ this site; although the model I hacked with your help was in fact a DVP 3020K, the thanks were meant for you guys, so I re-post here too.)

CVD? $? 2 days 9 of 10 Comments: Cheap, but has played everything I have tried, with good results. Eject button..... Try pressing and holding stop button, works for me.

CVD? $70 7 days 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG MP3 ID3 TAG MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Comments: Excellent performance for a cheap player costing only 39.50 UK Pounds (ASDA). Progressive scan is implemented but not having a TV with the same feature I cannot comment on this. Still feature is sharp with no jaggy scanlines. Attractive slim design.

CVD? $? 60 days 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Comments: Biggest down fall of this player is that the Remote Control has no EJECT button and you have to press the button on the unit. On the Plus side - 1 - Pic quality very good due to Progressive scan 2 - Plays MPG files from CD+DVD, not just VCDs 3 - Looks very good, Glass front and slim line unit 4 - Fairly cheap - £40 5 - MP3 sound good I've tested out the region free hack on this site and it works - select Region 0
