MP3 WMA CVD? $125 over 1 year No rating JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-WMA DVD-MP3 MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Comments: I have had this DVD player sice 2001. It has a bitter grude against burned cds. IT doesnt play CdRs or RWs. IT especially hates VCDs. Anythin thats burned this thing won't play. BUt it loves commercial DVDs. So i got fed up enought and bought a new DVD player. . Gave the old one to my sister. Plus this thing will freeze on the slightest scratch. But it has tipe top video picture quality. Other than that this player sucks.

CVD? $? over 1 year 8 of 10 Comments: I won this player when I worked at Blockbuster. VCD's play just fine, as long as they are on CD-RW's (have used Maxell and Memorex). Maxell DVD-R's play perfectly, but there are severe problems with Dynex DVD-R's (freezing, even before the Main Menu).

CVD? $60 N/A 4 of 10 DVD-RAM Comments: I have used Mitsui DVD-R media with various authoring programs; MyDVD, CopyDVD, Adaptec DVD, and the disks do not work. I get an error "insert playable disk" after the drive trys to scan the disk.

CVD? $150 N/A 7 of 10 Comments: Surprisingly enough, my DVD player is able to play VCDs. I have yet to find a hack code to convert this to a region-free player. Any comments/recommendations??

CVD? $100 N/A 9 of 10 Comments: This player was bought at blockbuster and has played everything i have burned. I used hewlett packard r+ and rw+ and Pengo r- and rw- media. No problems with compatibility.A nec nd-1300a was used to make the movies. dvd Xpress Xcopy and Instant copy with dvd decrypter was the best quality burningsoftware.

N/A 3 of 10 Comments: Burned a Fujitsu DVD+R with a Sony DRU500A drive (firmware revision 2.0f), and it played just fine on this player. Tried a generic/white label DVD+R disc manufactured by Ricoh--burned with same drive above--and it played fine for about an hour, then froze. Restarted and returned to the same point and it kept freezing.

CVD? $150 N/A 1 of 10 JPG/JPEG Comments: A friend "purchased" this machine for $150 from Blockbuster Video one year ago on a "free DVD per week for a year" promotion. The manual boasts that it only plays DVD and CD, specifically saying it won't play other formats, such as VCD. I tested a VCD and it won't play. Also DVD-Rs will not play, but I did get some DVD-RWs to play and some would not (using www.americal.com white labelled disks). This must be a special unit for Blockbuster specifically designed to play DVD/CDs and nothing else.
