I put DVD-RW = few because the strange thing is that this media will play a video DVD authored onto DVD-RW fine. However, if I author MP3 files onto DVD-RW then the disk is not recoginised. In contrast I can author both Video DVD and MP3 files onto DVD+RW disks. I selected yes to long file names and folder support because you can have MP3 files in folders. However, I dunno about long file names - my files have long file names and they play. However, only the first 11 or so chars of the file name are visible in the GUI.

N/A 10 of 10 JPG/JPEG MP3 long filename MPEGISO Comments: It's Very good. This Player suport vcd, cvd, svcd, xvcd, xsvcd, MP3, Photo CD, Mpeg 1 and 2. All cd-r and cd-rw media that I have works perfect . (Sony , TDk, Philips, Memorex ... Entirely happy with my purchase! Excellent player.

CVD? $175 N/A 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: It looks like it don't like any cdrw media, it has to be a good media. It plays SVCD subtitle, tested with an SVD movie with 2 subtitles, but it don't display the fist subtitle. It has one digital audio jack and component video. It doesn't play PAL related material, aka, 25fps. With Component video has colors but in 25fps. It's a good player.

MP3 VBR WMA CVD $250 N/A 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG MP3 long filename Comments: This player is very good, suport vcd, cvd, svcd, xvcd, xsvcd, MP3, Photo CD, dvd and dvd karaoke also have 2 plugs for mic. The cd-r and cd-rw media works perfect (i use only Sony media). the bad thing is the player dont suport extra audio tracks and subtlite, the interface is pretty ugly too, compared to my panasonic.
