CVD? $? over 1 year 8 of 10 DVD-RAM Comments: Plays mini DVD-RAM from my HItachi camcorder without problems. Also plays standard DVD-RAM that I ripped in my LD super DVD burner with NERO. Excellent !

CVD? $? 210 days 9 of 10 Comments: Just wanted to make a little update. This DVD player will not play PAL DVDs, *BUT* if you want to play any PAL DVD, the IFOEdit Trick DOES work. CVD? $400 N/A 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-MP3 MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: I was very disapointed that the player will not play DVD-R's burnt with mp3's, I used iTunes' MP3 CD option to try, and it works fine in a PC. Unit complains about invalid media on screen and says "PLAY ERROR" on disc read. Other than that, it's great.

CVD? $400 N/A 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG Comments: Ripper: DVDshrink ver. 3.0 Beta 5 Burning Tool: Sonic RecordNow! ver. 6 DVD drive: NEC DVD+RW ND-1100A (Dell OEM) Media: HP DVD+RW, FujiFilm DVD+R (4x) Problems: None. Comments: Above average value for the money. Great video quality. Superb audio considering power output of speakers. (Center speaker can use more power.) Plays CD-Rs flawlessly. Plays DVD+R (Fuji) and DVD+RW (HP) without issue. Viewing JPEGs on CD-RW somewhat slow but acceptable. No known problems. Not tested with DVD-R, DVD-RW or DVD-RAM yet.

Smooth operation, great sound options, very clear picture Works as well as my APEX!

N/A 9 of 10 JPG/JPEG Comments: Claims to be able to read svcd - but there is a notice that only a certain standard. I tried one burned with dvd2svcd and it was not recognized. Maybe the media? I t does, however, play dvd-r without any problems at all - as well as jpeg disks. Plays very nicely!
