CVD? $5 7 days 5 of 10 Comments: I got it at the thrift shop for almost free. There is a reason I guess. I played rental DVD,s via s-vhs output. I also played mp3 music that I burned.

CVD? $? over 1 year 3 of 10 Comments: I want to say I am throughly unimpressed with this player for another reason besides those posted here - the tuner doesn't seem to work with our cable service above a channel in the 40s or so as I remember, when every other tuner in the house can see many more without a cable box. This thing is a real crock.

N/A No rating Comments: The VHS works .The DVD is very limited in capabilities as far as PC burned DVD's go. It will play imation DVD +RW recorded at 2.4x. Most DVD +r's ex Philips DVD +R won't work. It may be a relectivity issue ( dark record surface) Don't make my mistake and buy the PV-D4732. I'll stay away from brand names in the future...seems the dirt cheap players are often more capable.

CVD? $175 N/A 4 of 10 Comments: I've only used Imation CD-Rs (700mb) to burn VCDs for this player. SVCDs can be used only by using the VCD header trick, but be sure to use TMPGe: VCD-Standard, or it won't work properly. Also, I used VCDeasy to burn - i ran into a few problems with Nero 6, but VCDeasy worked without a hitch.

MP3 WMA CVD? $200 N/A 6 of 10 JPG/JPEG DivX MPEGISO Comments: I've tried a few CD-Rs and CD-Rws and all work if you convert anything to VCD (Standard or Nonstandard header)..DVD+RW's work fine too even SVCD to VCD on DVD+RW works perfect..not alot of options very plain DVD player..wouldnt pay more than $100 for it..Can't play PAL video cd's or DVD's either..Also it prohibits DVD to VHS (dont know if you can get around it)..all in all not bad for the average person but if you play alot of SVCDs or do alot of burning dont bother buying.

CVD? $250 N/A 1 of 10 Comments: The worst DVD I have ever seen. The LCD can't display time or number, it only displays "PLAY" or "REC", you don't even know where you are in the movie. And once you "Stop" playing, it won't continue the next time you "Play", you just have to "FF" it from the beginning. It won't let you record VHS while playing DVD, what is the point of buying a DVD_VHS combo!!
