CVD? $? over 1 year 9 of 10 Comments: No problems since new. has played everything i have put in it (not that i have tried all formats available). Have burnt dvd-r and dvd+r, vcd and svcd and all play perfectly.

CVD? $100 N/A 9 of 10 Comments: very happy with the performance of this machine, had earlier purchased a JNL 7001 which performed quite poorly (pausing and freezing etc and not playing cdr or cdrw which it also did not claim to do) returned the JNL and got the Palsonic on 13/5/02 for A$245 in Brisbane. So far no complaints and does all it claims to do, have watched a couple of dvd's movies which performed well no pauses or freezing, have played commercial audio cd's, burned cdr's and crdw's with mp3's, audio tracks and converted MPEG files, all work well except the mpegs don't fill the tv screen, (I don't know that much about avi/mpeg conversion so maybe a problem with my skill in that area.) One issue I have noticed is that when the machine is turned on and not being used it does cause some rf interference with tv reception (we are in a not so great tv reception area also) this issue is easily overcome by turning the dvd off when not using it. All in all very happy at this point.
