CVD? $? 3 days 2 of 10 Comments: 2004 model purchased used. Plays older DVDs okay but has trouble reading newer ones. Not much good actually so don't buy one if still available. No tech support - the company appears to be gone.

CVD? $30 150 days 8 of 10 Comments: Purchased mine on sale at K-mart. Play chiefly DVD-R,CD-R and VCDs, as well as purchased "previously" viewed movie DVDs with no problems. It seems to play the latter no matter what the condition, unlike the $150 Sylvania I had prior to buying this one, which had problems with just about anything I tried to play that had a nick or minor scratch. It is, on occasion slow to read and get going, and once in awhile I will get a "not compatable" message. When this happens, without failure, playing a laser lens cleaning CD once or twice has fixed the problem. Picture quality has been excellent. Almost as good as my APEX. Went out and bought a 2nd, the smaller version, on sale at K-mart for $24 for our son. It plays even better. Can't beat it for the money!!

CUSTOMER SERVICE WOULD NOT ANYTHING FOR ME AND SAID I COULD SEND IT IN TO FIX IT BUT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. DO NOT BUY ANY THING FROM THIS COMPANY THEY MAKE TERRIBLE PRODUCTS. I DON'T CARE HOW INEXPENSIVE IT WAS IT SHOULD STILL LAST MORE THAN 7 MONTHS. DO NOT GIVE YOUR NAME OR PHONE NUMBER TO THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT BE HELPFUL AT ALL. CVD? $? 180 days No rating Comments: hi iam guelay...i have 2 dvd player in the house both are the same oritron dvd 3119...the one in the livingroom play all kind of movies...svcd, vcd mvcd but the other one in my son`s room not...is the same movie...in the one room it plays in the other room not...i will appreciate that ,when u you guys can help me with that...thanx a lot...byyye

CVD? $40 3 days 9 of 10 Comments: I bought this player specifically because it was touted as being able to play DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, and DVD-RW discs. So far, I've tried a bunch of burned DVD+R discs and it's played them without a hitch -- the same as my much more expensive Sony. The price was so good, I'm going to go buy at least one more -- it cost just $39 on sale this week (week of Sunday 6/27/04) at K-Mart!!

N/A 3 of 10 MP3 long filename Comments: Sometime it has a long start up time. You have to physically press on/off button on the Player. The controller does not help. I play SVCD, VCD CDR and CDRW all the time. I have no problems. It good for it price, not the best. One key features is able to lock in at specific movie spot to resume later.

MP3 WMA CVD? $50 N/A 7 of 10 JPG/JPEG Comments: it plays vcd and svcd but has trouble playing movies when you first turn it on. it seems to take ages to begin playing. also, if you burn vcd/svcd it has trouble with the menus. so somtimes you have to press the numbers on the remote to get it to play chapters. (example)chapter 1 is the 1 on remote. or treat the vcd as a audio cd going to the next track button on the remote other than the next chapter button. other than this, for the price its a good dvd player. considering i had a dvd player that costed 150+dollars and would only play dvds it wouldnt even read cdr's.

Used MYDVD software, also used Nero 6 software, and used DVD X Copy, also used DVD Shrink 3.1...They all played fine on this player...A very good DVD player, easy to hook up and only 49.95 at K MART....
