CVD? $80 N/A No rating JPG/JPEG MP3 long filename Comments: Well it is REGION FREE straight out of the box, and after plugging it in thru my video recorder thinking it will have macrovision on it. I was suprised to see no presence of it on playing an australian DVD / Stuart Little 2. So i put SHREK into it NTSC, and only every know and then could i see the macrovision effect. As for cd's this thing does not seem to care at all, i have about a 4 year old cd, with 7 or 8 sessions of pictures & it's scratched to the shit house and this thing just played it no problem. Same with MP3's. The cds are cheap of the cheap nothing special. Tried VCD's SVCD no problem. Software used to writting cd's would be nero. I paid $115AUS for it from my work, they retail for $150AUS. and for that price i dont care about the brand it plays all the cd's i use without a problem. Region free no cracks required, and no macrovision works on my old skool TV :)
