This hack (which is the same as for the T512) works fine: -switch on unit -press Pause on RC -enter 1472 (display shows 01??) -press curser up until display shows 04 ?? -now press "Program" "4" "Program" "5" -Display shows 04dE -press "Enter" - display flash one time -press " Return" -switch unit off

SVCD: Max of 2495 bitrate for video + 224 for audio (48 KHz Ok) plays well.

If your CD player is getting old, try this player as a replacement. You'll get a CD-player with a perfect sound quality. And then you have a nice DVD player for free ;-) Just a pitty Filenames en IDtag's are not supported.

N/A 7 of 10 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX Comments: hi, as this is my first dvd-player ever, i don't have any comparison but it's a quite good player. mp3: played everything i tested so far, but only displays first x chars (don't know right now) of the filename, afaik it doesn't display id3-tags. vcd: you first have to enable it with a hack, but once enabled, it played everything i tried. svcd: no support for svcd. dvd+/-r/rw: couldn't test it, don't have a dvd-burner. picture quality is very good, sound too. note: can be hacked to be region-free!

CVD? $350 N/A 8 of 10 Comments: I burn my CDs with Neo and all brands of CD-R and CD-RW works. I even have some really transparent noname CD-Rs. Playing VCD is easily enabled using the remote. Same codes as for LG DVD-4730 works (region hack too). Really superb stereo sound playback! This player can double as a CD player anytime.

CVD? $350 N/A 6 of 10 DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: Decent DVD and CD player. Nothing exceptional. MP3 support is somewhat limited, max 256 tracks, no random play, no ID tags and truncates long file names. All DVD+R and +RW disks I've tried worked (burned with hp200i firmware 1.36). The NADT531 is supposedly a modified LG DVD player, so region hack and VCD hack should be the same.
