Make sure to download and install firmware 12.01.03 from the manowa.com website. This allows brightness, contrast and saturation control....which the player needs to deliver the optimal picture. Delivers up to 1080i upconversion in PAL and NTSC formats. Has DVI and component out connections too. True region-free and multi voltage capability with no modifications required. Visit www.avsforum (DVD player section) for more info/tweaks on this awesome unit. Very highly recommended DVD player.

N/A 8 of 10 MP3 long filename DivX Comments: I've used several brands of disks in this unit, and all work about the same. I do have problems playing SVCD or Divx movies of DVD-RW or CD-RW disks. If they are on DVD-R or CD-R they work 100%. This unit is also has a 'cheap' feel to it. The remote feels like it would break into pieces if it falls off the couch. I also have player noise from the disk spinning. All in all, I like this player because I can play just about anything I download from the net!
