Comments: Very good player if you have the latest mtz firmware installed. It sometimes freezes when it get's overheated i guess. It would be the perfect player if it also supports the mkv video countainers. But i guess i can't ask for too much for this price ;)

CVD? $? 30 days No rating Comments: Hello, Recently I brought Medion DVD player, MD 7457. it could not recognize the files and folders in a DVD+R, which were written in multi session. it recoganize only first time written file/folder in a DVD+R. It could not recoganize files/folders which were written second time or latter. Is it possible to fix this proplem? I am vey happy if any one could reply as soon as possible. No repeat/random function for all folders (whole dvd) no srt subtitle support no mp3 programm to store favorite songs to play I want to insert a DVD-mp3 disc and play without monitor navigation. Just play all the mp3 files in different folders automatically random or repeat sequence. It's simple, I don't want more. I'm waiting for firmware update to support above functions. btw what is the latest version?? I've 2.06 version (date today: sept 22th 2004)

CVD $70 14 days 9 of 10 miniDVD/cDVD JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Comments: This is, despite its low price, by far the most compatlible DivX/Mpeg4-capable DVD-Player. I do also own a Tevion 4000, but as to DivX/Mpeg4 compatibility, this player is distinctively better. So far, it played every AVI-movie, burned both on CD-R and DVD+/-R/+RW, some of which did not run on the Tevion 4000. And in contrast to the Tevion 4000, the Aspect-Ratio was correct without having to play around with the PAL/NTSC settings. It plays multilanguage SVCDs and even AVIS correctly. SVCD/CVD-Subs do not work, I have not tried AVI-Subs yet.

Plays everything you give him. Also DivX. Waiting for a Firmwareupdate now, because there are some little errors playing some DivX.
