Plays all types of discs I have tried and with all different file types: MP3, DivX, XVid, Jpeg in high resolution .... Reads many different Subtitle formats for DivX/XVid movies: SubRip(*.srt/*.txt) SAMI(*.smi) SubStation Alpha(*.ssa/*.txt) MicroDVD(*.sub/*.txt) SubViewer 2.0(*.sub/*.txt) VobSub (*.sub) The system has got an USB connection. Tried my Samsung 200GB, works perfect. Must be a FAT32 partition. The USB connection also reads all different formats including DivX/XVid, very convenient. HDMi output with 720P/1080i upscaling, a Jpeg slideshow in high resolution looks really great. The sound produced is very clean with a nice bass. All in all good value for the money spent.
