CVD? $100 1 days 5 of 10 DivX XviD Comments: Summary: good playback but noisy with CDs. Got me this one yesterday, but after 1 hour of testing I decided to return it. The good: playback of all DVDs I tested (retail and homemade) was flawless. Same can be said for the DivX and XviD titles which I tried. Navigation is easy and comprehensive. The bad: all CDs (no matter if audio or video, retail or homemade) cause the drive to make a ticking noise which on silent sections can be heard as far away as 3 - 4 meters. Knockout, I'll return it tomorrow. But if you're only looking for DVD playback, I can't say anthing bad about it.

CVD? $80 90 days 9 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-MP3 DivX XviD Comments: This is a really good and cheap player. It showed anything I have fed it until so far. I am really satisfied with this machine. Points of criticism: The subs are really smal, so if you're planning to use this in combination with a small screen you need good eyes! And I still haven't found out if there are firmware updates possible. Support from LG sucks, but for this price that ain't entirely unexpected.

CVD? $90 1 days 5 of 10 DivX Comments: silent playback, but makes some ticking noises with data cds (CD-RW with a DivX-File). it plays DivX files (5.0) but the picture quality is really bad. if i use the same DivX file with a pioneer or philips dvd player the picture quality looks like a DVD. and the player doesnt have s-video and optical audio connections (ok, low price...). if you want to playback DivX-files with a good picture quality...dont buy this one... i bring back the player

CVD? $? 120 days 8 of 10 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX XviD DVD-RAM Comments: I haven't tried to play WMA files, but it's suposed to be capable of it (in the manual says it can play WMA, and in the box is printed the logo of WMA, the same on the dvd player).

CVD? $100 2 days 9 of 10 miniDVD/cDVD DivX Comments: At last a player dat realy works. First i had a Aiwa. Witch would not play any normal dvd's. Than i had a Provision Witch could not play rewritables. Now i have machine who can play everything even Divx. Its a great thing.
