CVD? $150 2 days 8 of 10 DVD-JPG DivX XviD Comments: Nice. Plays xvid and divx with packed bit stream without a problem. Region hacked, plays everything (and can be region set for those problem discs). If applying the hack for smothing ntsc playback (if your in the uk or other none NTSC area), when I did this the rgb output on the scart went green !! I have no idea why and there (appears) to be no way of restoring normal colour other than removing the hack ? In all other respects a very, very good machine.

CVD? $? 30 days 9 of 10 Comments: Its gone up as its played everything ive thrown at it and orks beautifully with my cheap and chearfull 2.5" external HDD enclosure to playback movies/music etc etc

CVD? $150 21 days 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG DivX XviD MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Comments: This reports on the DNX190UH model which is the same but has a USB 2 port rather than the card reader. It uses the Zoran 888 chipset (not mentioned in the dropdown list)and its divx/xvid support is superb though unlike its older syblings theres no upconvert over component hacks though they may come soon as this player is still quite new. Its USB port will accept flash based devices and possibly (i havent tested it but other 888 based devices do allow this) external powered HDD devices though not offically. For me the players been great though a few others have had issues with its upconverted DVD picture.
