MP3 WMA CVD? $70 270 days 9 of 10 JPG/JPEG Comments: Plays copied movies from Sony DVD+R and some obscure brand names almost without problems. Major copied-movie playback problems with Maxell, Memorex, and Kodak DVD+Rs. Strangely, plays copied movies from Maxell DVD+RWs almost flawlessly. Mp3 playback is satisfactory.

N/A No rating miniDVD/cDVD Comments: SVCD with VCD header trick worked partially for me: slow frame rate and a lot of flicker. Contact me if you've got it to work better. miniDVD didn't work at all. An earlier report said it did, so if you have tried this, please add your report to clarify.

N/A No rating Comments: Tried running Hypermedia DVD-R & DVD+RW with no success. Used DVDxCopy V1.41. Cannot program 5 disc repeat without TV and once it is programmed, needs to be reprogrammed when unit is turned off. For the price ($60 Meijer) it is a good value. It is capable of handling future upgrades and needs a future upgrade to play DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW. Also, Macrovision dis-able feature needs to be available.

CVD? $60 N/A 9 of 10 DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: Plays VCD and DVD,DVD-R flawlessly! I use Spruce-up to author, Nero to burn on Ritek DVD-R with Pioneer 104. It plays mp3 from CD-R/RW, but could not get mp3 DVD-R to work in mode 1 iso. No shuffle feature for mp3s. Random or continuous modes for titles and chapters. Has edit program feature that will play discs in any order with any chapter or title. Decent build quality. I love this player!

Plays DVD+R/RW disks all brands that I have.
