CVD? $? 180 days 10 of 10 DVD-MP3 Comments: I received this player free for signing up for a credit card. I can't believe it. It has played everything I've thrown at it. It plays all my DVD -r video movie disks the best I've ever seen. (I currently burn with Taiyo Yuden 4X.) I have a Cyberhome DVD 500 which is not bad for these but it does at times freeze on them or at least plays them in a jerky manner. When I play them in this unit, they play flawlessly. In addition, it plays PAL movies with just a click of the button on the remote flawlessly. Likewise, it plays MP3 music files which I burn on a DVD without a glitch. I guess you call that DVD-MP3 compatible. My Cyberhome won't touch an MP3 DVD nor will any other unit I've tried. The only drawback here exists because it can only play up to about 500 files on a DVD, ie. it only sees that many files. I think that's probably a memory limitation. Finally, it arrived region free. It plays any region flawlessly without me having to run down a hack on the internet. It describes itself as a 2 sound channel unit. However, don't be deceived by that. Just feed the sound into a receiver decoder via the coaxial sound connection and you have great Dolby Digital 5.1 or whatever channel your decoder will handle. I assume it does DTS as well but I haven't tried that. I've never had a unit this great.

CVD? $? 1 days 5 of 10 JPG/JPEG MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Comments: Plays DVD-MPEGISO and SVCD, along with VCD! Got this free and was suprized with the above. Only thing it wasn't able to play that I tried was a DVD-RW.
