N/A No rating JPG/JPEG DivX Comments: MPEG-4 (simple profile), i.e. no avanced features from DivX 5.11 / XviD are supported, but I have not tried any DivX with Pro features like GMC, etc. !!!

N/A 6 of 10 JPG/JPEG MP3 long filename Comments: The deal with this player is the buildin memory card reader which supports all kinds of memory cards w/ MP3 or JPEG pictures. Nice. Not so nice is the SVCD support, which was the reason behind me returning the player to the store. Standard SVCDs are working, but as soon as I throw overlength stuff to the player, the title skip stops to work and/or the SVCD doesn't play at all ! Also, the picture quality is not quite good, a Philips and a Sony player which I had for comparison did a better job here. I would say this is a great player if JVC get the problems with not-quite standard SVCD fixed.
