N/A 7 of 10 Comments: Plays DVD-R easily although the manual does not list it as a playable format. It takes a few extra seconds to read the disc, but once going is as good as any other DVD. DVD-R discs used are Packard Bell(x2) and Maxell(x4) burnt using a Sony DVDRW DW-U12A.

N/A 7 of 10 Comments: Dvd+r with booktype dvd-rom worked fine. Tested it with diffent dvd's burned on the nec nd-1100a.

N/A 6 of 10 Comments: I´m heaving problems with it to play dual layers DVDs midia. It won´t work, unless you push de eject botton several times, before it open the door.

N/A 8 of 10 Comments: this DVD player read CD-RW audio and vidéo. I use a YAMAHA CRWM74B4X CDRW. it reads also XVCD at 2500Kts for PAL 352x288.

N/A 9 of 10 Comments: I have tested (myself)CD, VCD, XVCD, DVD-R and all of them work very good. The quality of VCD is not that much good but hey, it is VCD NOT DVD. The manual of this DVD Player says that DVD-R is "non-playable" howevere, I myself tested a pioneer DVD-R, and it worked well (even the fast forwarding is working great 60X). Great product. Cheers,
