MP3 WMA CVD? $? over 1 year 7 of 10 DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX XviD Comments: Although several people wrote that they succeeded to use a burned dvd, I can not use any. I doesn't accept any dvd -r or dvd + r. Even with the advise that people wrote. It is very annoying. Just today I gave it a new start, but effortless. Using NEC burner and Nero 6.0 (DVD UDF/ISO), low speed (2x). If you put in the DVD, it starts reading for about 10 seconds and then only shows 00:00. After pressing the ff button for minutes I gave up. (Using Imation DVD -R )

CVD? $? over 1 year 1 of 10 Comments: Ongelovelijk , ik was verbaasd, maar bijna alles werkt met de onderstaande workarround. hier mee kun je -R en +R afspelen: It works with all dvd-r , and dvd+r. if you load a dvd-r or dvd+ryou get the player to reading,and if you keep pressing the (ff) button on your remote control,and this may take minutes,it will start playing. after doing this the first time,the next time you put in a dvd-r or dvd+r it will read two times,the second time it starts playing. even jvc does not know how this works but it works.!!!!!

DON'T work: - YUDEN000 T01 DVD+R Plextor 4x - INFOME R20 DVD+R Philips 8x - Ricoh RICOHJPN R02 DVD+R Platinum 8x - Prodisc R03 DVD+R Intenso 8x - Philips 081 DVD+R Philips 8x DO work: AML DVD-R HiSpace 4x RITEK R03 DVD+R NoName 8x RITEK R03 DVD+R RiData 8x RicohJPN R02 DVD+R Ricoh 8x PRINCO Budget DVD+R Princo Budget 4x AML DVD-R HiSpace 4x I suggest using the Ricoh DVD+R (RicohJPN R02 DVD+R Ricoh 8x). Though it takes about 30 seconds until the player finds the disc, it plays quite well without jerking at the end. I can burn this DVD+R with 16x speed. My DVD writer is a BENQ DW 1620 Pro. You can buy this specific DVD+R at Amazon at an affordable price. Hope that helps :-))

I have tried Maxell --> doesn't work!. Philips --> doesn't work! Sony --> doesn't work! Verbatim --> doesn't work! Making all my DVD's in DVD-R with Pinnacle instantcopy and instantcopy hidden settings and plays every DVD-r from "that's write" perfectly. Also tried using Nero 6.0 and Roxio easy CD creator. Nero just makes DVD's it won't play the Roxio just plays after you try it several times holding the FF button

N/A 8 of 10 Comments: I've tried Nashua +R and MMore +R dvd they play very well. Only the +RW i can't get it to work. Later on I will try -RW and -R so i can let you know. If some have the solution too get RW working, please let me (us) know.....

MAXELL DVD-R(dvd-boxed) and DVD+R(dvd-boxed)work for sure !!! Dunno about maxell regular cased since havent tryied yet.

It is kinda disappointing to have all these limits after paying a big price, while our friendly Walmart is selling a $50 DVD player that plays all forms of media.

N/A No rating Comments: Op mijn JVC TH-A9R kan ik zowel DVD-r als DVD+r afspelen. Ik heb op dit moment DVD's van NASHUA in DVD-box gekocht en deze spelen prima op mijn systeem. SVCD kun je afspelen met de truuk hier op deze site vermeld.

I burn the dvd with nero with a NEC 1000 Drive. why only works with a few DVD +R? Is the software, the drive or the media?

What kind of rules do i need to obey to make my TH9R read DVD+R. I'm getting a little confused right now. Hans

N/A 9 of 10 Comments: I have checked some DVD-R, but without success. I have used different media (Pioneer, Bell Technology, Thatswrite) and machine reject all of them however other player (Roadstar 1018) has accepted them ... VCD,SVCD is running well, but with one trick. MPEG-2 file has to have modified header to MPEG-1 as already described here. Menu, slideshow and chapter are working fine.
