CVD? $? 60 days No rating Comments: My theory is proving more right ... just confirmed that it plays TDK DVD+R fine. I really think it actually will play practically all DVD+R's it just won't record/burn on them.

CVD? $? 30 days 9 of 10 Comments: Excellent DVD Recorder. Does everything it should and does it well. One and only reason it is not a 10 -- It does not have all the basic controls on the face of the actual unit. There's no FF or REW or Select button, you need the remote for these. At times this is a real inconvenience, but beyond that this unit is soooo good. (I've used Panasonic DMR30, Philips 75, and Toshiba K-2) MEDIA: Confirmed recordings on TDK -R and Philips -R. And although it actually advertises it won't play DVD+Rs, I can confirm it plays Memorex +R, and the other rater noted it plays Fuji and Philips +R so I actually think it can read most/more +R media.

CVD? $450 21 days 9 of 10 DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename DVD-RAM Comments: easy to use, plays +r and +rw from philips, fuji. cheaper brands +r will not play, i use maxell dvd-ram, and sony dvd-rw, so far no problems.
