CVD? $90 2 days 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG MP3 long filename Comments: Got it two days ago from futureshop. Bought it when it was on special at $90 Cdn. Came to $104 with tax. Decent quality LCD screen (5.3 inch widescreen). Limited viewing angle though. The region hack works. After hacked, read region 3, 1 and 5 discs with no problem (I only have those movie dics at home) Good body, light weight. Using wide screen screen mode in playing wide screen movies stil have two black bars on top and below, though smaller than using normal screen mode. The left side of the screen (body) get hot after an hour of viewing, but still OK. The screen saver was on when first plugged in and so difficult to adjust setup as you could see nothing on screen. Cleared after 5 minutes. Volume of internal speakers little bit soft. Enough for indoor use but weak for outdoor. Have to use headphones when outdoor. Good stereo and backgroud effects when use with headphones. Came with lots of accessaries, including car adaptor, AC adaptor, rechargeable battery, remote and TV/Camcorder adaptor. Can use as a normal DVD player when plugged into a TV or use as a monitor when plugged into a DVcam. Have a 90 days warranty. I plan to play it hard and frequent within the month and see if anything will go wrong. With that price, I am very happy with it. Too bad the sale is over, otherwise, good as Christmas present. The 7-inch model is selling at $150 now.
