So far so good. Couple issues. Burns well, but looks like one hour of content per 4.7 gigs...two settings: Best and High Quality....no option to compress file to fit on DVD-R media..High Quality gets you an hour, Best is even less. Taping a 2 hr VHS tape will cost you two DVD-R's. One thing that really suprised me was contacting Humax customer service via phone, on Thanksgiving weekend, got right through and had perhaps the first pleasant electronic customer service experience ever. Very good help. Can't locate an off switch? Might not have one? Will be trying to set up USB connection to computer to avoid the phone call for Tivo updates.
