CVD? $? over 1 year 7 of 10 MP3 long filename Comments: The only problem with the P323u player is that there is no hack available to unlock the region code and set it for a different region. So you're stuck with playing DVD's that are coded for the country code set in the player. That sucks.

CVD? $90 N/A No rating Comments: I have been unable to play SVCD. Used Nero 6 ultra burn SVCD option. 4X speed to CD-R 16X speed to CD-R Used AVI2SVCD, did not work either. VCD worked fine at 4x using Nero burn VCD option. Menus worked as well.

N/A No rating Comments: I bought this player to play DVD-R discs. It plays them except the video looses sinc with the audio after about five minutes. You have to pause the player and then when you push play, it's back to being in sinc. Then it does the same thing over and over. I would not recommend this unit unless it is for home use. I bought it to show programs with it to business clients. It's no good for this purpose.

N/A 8 of 10 Comments: Once again this unit has impressed. I used the Verbartim DVD+RW/R Producer DVD burner to create a DVD using MyDVD 4.0. The media I used was Verbatim DVD+RW. The Hitachi DVP323U had no problems seeing and playing this media, eventhough the factory specs indicated that the unit did not support DVD+RW.

N/A 8 of 10 Comments: I used the Verbartim DVD+RW/R Producter DVD burner to create a picture CD using Ulead DVD Picture Show 2.0. The media I used was Verbatim DVD+R. The Hitachi DVP323U had no problems seeing and playing this media, eventhough the factory specs indicated that the unit did not support DVD+R. This unit contiues to impress.

MP3 VBR 320kbit/s WMA CVD? $125 N/A 9 of 10 MPEGISO Comments: Doesnt nativly support SVCD, but you can use the multiplex hack (MPEG-1 STANDARD) and it works flawlessly! Used 40x Maxell CD-R 700 MB for this process

N/A No rating Comments: I burned a DVD+R using Sonic's MyDVD and just wanted to let others know that it worked fine. I used a Maxwell DVD+R media. I am new to this game and so I couldn't provide any more info. It's not even my DVD player, it is my uncles.

CVD? $125 N/A 8 of 10 Comments: I bought this player about three months ago , and it has done a fine job of playing the VCD's I pump out of my computer using Clad and TMPGEnc tools. Never had a problem with this player,and the best part was I only paid 20 Canadian for it. What a steal to play MP3's . DVD's,VCD's

N/A 10 of 10 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: I'm surprised no one has posted anything about this unit. I think it's one of the best DVDplayers out there. It'll play MP3s (some @ lower bitrates such as 96k and under it won't play, but everything that's CD quality it has no problem playing.) It claims it plays: DVD/MP3/VCD, I've tested VCD and MP3 on Fuji CDR Media. It also claims to play CDR/CDRW/DVDR, I've only tested CDR/CDRW with VCD/MP3. I paid $119 for the unit and I can't complain. The only thing i've noticed is sometimes certain VCDs during playback don't sync. But if you stop the VCD and restart the playback (from the point you stopped it at) it works fine. That's the only glitch i've seen. But otherwise 99% playback if flawless.
