CVD? $250 N/A 8 of 10 Comments: I returned a Cyberhome 700B after 1 week, the battery charger sopped working. I had picked that because of it's ability to play DVD +R/RW. I decided to bite the bullit on a 50 pack of DVD +R's and buy the GoVideo. To my surprise, even though the specs say it's compatible with -R/RW only, it plays +R/RW's. I paid $248 on sale at Sears (not on sears.com) and got a 3 year replacement warranty for $37 more. Great so far.

CVD? $250 N/A 9 of 10 Comments: Just bought this little player at Sears for $249.88. So far so good. Could not find if it really played DVD +R/+RW. To my good fortune it does. I use XCopy and Nero burned disks on 4X and 2.4X. Has played all my disks so far. Only skipped on one disk so it may be the disk and not the player. The screen is very clear. I returned the Polaroid PDV-0800 because it would not play my +R/+RW disks with out skipping and freezing. This player has much better picture quality. This player also plays VCD's without a hitch. Just for kicks I put in a disk CD-RW with straight MPEG files. To my suprise it files them just like MP3's and plays them! How awesome it that! For the price and all the functionality this is a great little player.

MP3 WMA CVD? $300 N/A 9 of 10 JPG/JPEG MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DVD-RAM Comments: first DVD player I have owned that plays SVCD. Dolby Digital output is via mini optical to Toslink connection.does play MP3 CDs. No ID3 tag support. Will read subtitles. Long file names get cut off. when disc is inserted the play displays what type the disc is. On VCD/SVCD it even tells you if it is version 1.0 or 2.O. 7 inch widescreen LCD display. Only thing missing is a sleep function to turn off at set time lenght. Otherwise it is a great machine.
