N/A 7 of 10 Comments: Bought this player many years ago (at least 4). All in all over the years has been great and played any regular movie I have thrown at it. Finaly got a DVD burner (HP 300i). Tried a whole bunch of combinations and it appeared, like on here said, that no DVD+/- R or RW compatability, and was prepared to go out and buy a new player. But I actualy found a combination that seems to work here. Running CopyToDVD, and writing on Verbatim DVD+R disks, with no menus or anything, the video plays absolutely fine.

N/A No rating Comments: Floks, I found this Hack for VCD, and try it on a Goldstar DM4821NC (5-DVD charger) and it works, so just wanted to share to svery one that have this "Lucky Goldstar" LG dvd, here's go: REMEMBER: i'm not responsible for you not working DVD, i only share what i have found herein: VCD hack: 1 - Turn on the player wait for NO DISK 2 - Press "STOP" on the remote 3 - Press "PAUSE" on the remote 4 - Enter "1472" on the remote (the characters 01 47 should appear on the display)[If your player is a non UK model, this number will probably be different - don't worry] 5 - Press the UP arrow three times (the characters 04 Fd should appear on the display)[This number may be different depending on the configuration of your specific model - don't worry] 6 - Press "PROGRAM", "6", "PROGRAM", "5" (the characters 04 FE should now be displayed) 7 - Press "ENTER" (the display should flash briefly) 8 - Press "RETURN" 9 -Power the player off and then back on Multi-region hack: 1 - Turn on the player wait for NO DISK 2 - Press "STOP" on the remote 3 - Press "PAUSE" on the remote 4 - Enter "3 1 4 1 5 9" on the remote (the word COdE appears on the display) 5 - Enter "0" on the remote (0 = All Regions, 1 = Region 1, 2 = Region 2, etc.) 6 - Press "PAUSE" on the remote Power the player off and then back on Gook luck!

N/A 5 of 10 Comments: I thought it was ok since i burned VCD to play on it. Just spits out the media, only appears "disk error". Thought it plays DVD nicely (as any other DVD player should play, i think), that´s a pity because that´s the biggest deal in dowloading movies from internet, because you can burn it on VCD and see it later with your home DVD-Player in a real TV not in this crap monitor from my computer. If your connection is cable and you wish to make it worth of, don´t buy this model of DVD player.

CVD? $300 N/A 9 of 10 Comments: This DVD Player is one of the best I've seen. It playes DVD's and CD's great, and the picture is really good too. I got mine for 199$ CANADIAN at Wal-Mart. Go get it NOW. (Trust me it's a great buy)

N/A No rating Comments: ive tested as many different types of cdrs and cdrws as i could find and unfortunatly none worked.... it has a vcd light on it and an mp3 light on it.. but i havnt tested those features........ www.lge.com doesnt even advertise the model on its webpage... its odd cause i cant find any online info about the dvd player.. I own it and besides the fact that it has some good features and plays dvds well with high quality its a peice of shit.
