MP3 WMA CVD? $? over 1 year 10 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-WMA DVD-MP3 DivX XviD Comments: Maxell dvd-rw doesnt work on mine other dvd-rw does. Other dvd-rw dont always work depending on firmware version. Ocassionally Maxall DL DVD+R might not work, 2 out of 30 didnt work. Ridata and Dynex DL DVD+R do work (10 to 15 of each tried).

CVD? $80 over 1 year 6 of 10 Comments: Player has overly bright blue LED's on the front even when it is powered off - standy button (unless you switch the main power off in the back). The remote is way too stiff, and I find the player does not respond well even from Universal remotes. Decent media support, but the player has been getting pickier with Philips DVD+RW media lately which is all I have. It often won't even play the discs now. Seems to be OK with Ritek and Taiyo Yuden -R DVD's and plays just about any CDR/W's. The remote response is a deal breaker at this point as it sometimes takes a few minutes to finally manage to get the correct menu item. A lot of the time when the arrow buttons finally work, it will move two or three items. I purchased a Harmony programable remote (which is awesome), but the Electrohome DVD player is still unresponsive. Decided it is time to upgrade to a Divx compatible DVD player.

CVD? $? 240 days 9 of 10 JPG/JPEG Comments: quite good, I paid $100 canadian for it. It also has vga video out in addition to compositie, svideo, component, audio outs include coax digital, stereo analogue, and toslin kdigital.
