CVD? $80 7 days 10 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-MP3 DivX XviD Comments: After having 2 DVD-500 players returned for faults ( 1 was ticking loudly while playing, other had TOC reading problems) i got 2 that work, and work the very well do. After having the DVD-339 player, this one is way way superior in my opinon as plays Divx/Xvids packed (No more messing around with MPEG4 Modifier) it also has the ability to play Nero Digital files, what ever they are as i have not come across any yet. There also is a simple remote control code to make this unit multi-region. Turn the player on, then open the disc tray, press setup and then key in 1,(zero),3,(zero) then (zero) for multi-region, if done correctly then you will see a region 0 pop-up onscreen, if not try again as i have found sometimes the line of sight for the remote has to be spot on sometimes for the buttons to work. Another feature to this player is that is has 2 mic input for karaoke (not yet tried this) and has controls to asign 1 or 2 mics in stereo or mono and has an echo control too. All in all a very well put together player that has alot of nice features and looks nice too with the black/silver combo, but for me the best part is it plays packed Divx/Xvid files.
