CVD? $60 7 days 8 of 10 DVD-MP3 Comments: I am having trouble updating the firmware. I get unknown disk on every cdr I've tried. Can anyone help? many thanks in advance. David

CVD? $40 7 days 9 of 10 JPG/JPEG MP3 long filename DivX XviD MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Comments: Solved the RC1/password problem on my RC2-set with "parental lock" set to "8". Great value, plays even Nero Digital and OGG with modded Firmware. Only the remote is a joke - but I've seen worse.

I have three annoyances sofar: 1. the multi region setting is complicated with menus and passwords and having to be bothered with it every time you put in a dvd. 2. When I start an Xvid, you hope nothing exiting happens in the first few seconds because first the screen dances around for a second and then even goes black for at least another second. 3. When you select subtitles with the 'subtitle' button on the RC, the text 'subtitles on' (or whatever) stays on screen! You have to press a random other button to get rid of it. Haven't discovered any pro's worth mentioning yet...

MP3 WMA CVD? $50 21 days 10 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-WMA DVD-MP3 DivX XviD MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Chipset: MediaTek MT1389DE Comments: Very nice Thing! -Plays allmost every thing i dropped in (exept ogg vobis) even old divx ;-) files like a charm -can handle many different kinds of subs and audiostreams and switch between them -good error correction and really fast forward/backward in divx/xvid files (compared to my other Player CH-462) -has a good chance of an altenate firmware (google 4 yourself..) -the look (and remote control :/ ) is the same like the ch-462, but the feel is mutch better ;)
