CVD? $50 N/A 7 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-RAM Comments: All burning is done on a MSI DR4-A. Ill have very bad results on this player with Traxdata +R media (TD 4x DVD+R silver / TD 1x DVD+RW silver) Best results i have with Princo 1-4x DVD-R white. The problem with TD's are that the player accept the dvd+r format but sometimes it takes verry long on starting or i have to reload de discs or it wil hang sometimes after a period of time when playing. The player is firmware updated to the latest version.

This makes the difference for me for keeping or buying another one...

It was abel to read a DVD-R just once and when it was inserted a second time it did not allow it. It must be really critical...

VCDEasy has done a great job! Plays PAL-DVD's very well. NTSC-DVD playing very bad! (espacially the lots of Music-DVD's i bought) Plays with jerks & a lot of freezings. No Kodak Photo-CD- and JPEG-Support. Shows "No media found" for all coloured CD-R's Tried a few DVD-R, Princo, Hi-Space, Octron, SK but only Princo 2x & hi-Space plays with no Problems (all burned with Toshiba SD-R5002) Takes very, very long, founding DVD-RW-Media.

CVD? $60 N/A 7 of 10 DivX Comments: This player, play's practicly everything..just pop it in and it works..low price player with a predated design. So if u are looking for a cheap player with lots of possibility's and your design demands ar'nt to high. This is what u want. The remotecontrole has a verry narrow angle, u have to point it almost strait at the player. The main menu is a bit user unfriendly but it grows on u verry fast...DON'T UPDATE THE FIRMWARE OF THIS PLAYER..it will give u lots of problems..like loss of audio by scartcable etc.. The player also plays foto cd r/w (home made with WinOnCD)foto book's...the works. Greetings Erik Vermaas

N/A No rating MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: Just had to add something. Mo i mayb have the solution for you. I also had the choppyness in the NTSC DVD/(S)VCD well it wasnt that much at all but it still bugs me. Solution: you can change the format (PAL/NTSC) in the setup menu of the player, after i changed it to NTSC my NTSC DVD, (S)VCD worked like a charm! :D Be sure to try it out :)

N/A 8 of 10 Comments: Pretty good player just got this for Xmas only tried VCD/SVCD out but it played it but im sure it'll play all that other shit, DVDR,XSVCD etc just like other people posted :). CVD? $90 N/A 6 of 10 Comments: Cheap Player, crappy Remote. Plays all kind of media i tried without any problems. Big Problem with NTSC playback. I didnt try RC1 DVD but my NTSC S/VCD's run skippy, the player can't show 60hz and seem to drop Frames, means picture hangs for a short moment several times a minute. Ich you dont want to watch NTSC movies and can live with the remote go for it.

So far: good stuff for the money. Hallo an alle, habe diesen DVD Player heute morgen bei media markt gekauft für 117 Euro.Habe auch direkt MP3 mit lanhgen verzeichnisnamen ausprobiert, kein Problem.Habe dann Kopien von VCD,SVCD,DVD R,DVD RW etc ausprobiert, bis jetzt keine Schwiergkeiten.Region freischaltung einwandfrei (tray öffnen,stop drücken,1999 eingeben,region code alle wählen,tray schließen), jetzt nur noch rausfinden, ob ich macrovision off habe (also direkt auf VHS kopieren kann) aber bis jetzt:einewandfrei das ding !!!!

I bought it to play my home made DVD+RW's and that works great.I made the DVD+Rw's with Pinnacle Studio 7,and DVDit from Sonic.I bought Studio 8 now ,but haven't made a DVD yet , but i do not expect a problem. Vcd Is well played too.I tried a Svcd that didn;t work, but i'm not sure the svcd was made properly because i didn't make it myself and don't know how it was made.
