But does give a menu for any pc formatted cd.

N/A 3 of 10 Comments: Built-in decoder is something, but not enough for me to keep this unit. I got this as a "free gift" instead of the Apex units they sold out of. If you're just playing straight DVDs its pretty good, but it plays neither VCD nor SVCD, which makes it fairly useless for me. I'll be trading down to an apex. It may be cheaper, but at least I'll be able to watch my SVCDs. Haven't tried MP3s.
