CVD? $40 over 1 year 10 of 10 Comments: don't know why so many people have problems with it. did they handle it to rough? mine plays everything that it should. no problems with cd's dvd's. doesn't matter what you burn on it. thanks to the progressive scan i can burn .mp3 & .exe files (everything you want), the gemini 350 plays .mp3 anyway and show perfectly every map on a disc. ofcourse it can't read other files then .avi & .mp3 and sometimes an avi has codecs that you only can play on your PC. so i was looking around for a possible firmware update for the gemini 350, but haven't found it yet. so no problems with here, works perfectly and better than some other divx-players i tried.

After two months he was fed up with it and constantly gives "Disc Error". He doesn't load any kind of disc anymore. And Netonnet.de decided not to do business outside Germany again, so the 50 euro is good for the garbage bag. Avoid this player!

When i ordered it no DVD+R works, so i send it back. I got it back works in 6 month now the player dont work at all. Yoy can update the player with firmware, you got it on netonet.com. u can se what update ver you have to push meny button, 1,3,5,7 you see what update version u have. Dont by this player a BIG WARNING ------------------------------------------------ Denna spelare suger hunnd. Jag köpte den på netonnet. Då funkade inte en enda DVD+R film inte heller Divx eller xvid, så jag skickade tillbaka skiten till netonnet fick tillbaka den. Den har fungerad i 6 månader nu utan större problem Men nu upptäckte jag att de har med all säkerhet bara uppdaterat firmwaeren i min spelare. Det går att se vilken firmware du har genom att trycka menu, 1,3,5,7 densenaste firmwaren är 215. Alltså min skit spelare funkar inte med denna heller. Hadde en denver innan som jag köpte på SIBA, skit bra spelare svalde allt. KÖP INTE DENNA SPELARE BARA STRUL..GARANTERAT!!

Doesnt work if you the first sentences in the tex ex. 1. this sun is made by X 2. download from xxx so that the sub now starts at the 3th row. freezes sometimes. the browser is abit slow but cheap and plays most files and medias

CVD? $? 90 days 1 of 10 Chipset: ESS Vibratto Comments: WARNING ! Many bugs and the company www.netonnet.com doesnt support you when things goes out of hands with this player. For earlier models they made a lot of new bugfree firmware so you could get rid of the trouble but with this one there's no firmware upgrades to come and when a consumer asks for a troublefree player they state that all problems are related to home burn dvd's and music cd's ! The player hangs often and the only resolution to get it alive again is to unplug the ac-cord. The sound on DivX movies are often not syncronized and sometimes it refuses to read certain DivX movies no matter how often you try or hos many thorough resets you make... The sound on music cd's are full of noise wich tends to accumulate the longer you get the music track played .... It can't read more than 8 directories on a music cd or svcd disc. The repeat function is buggy and half of the times you set it to on it doesnt work at all. The whole machine feels slow in software and it reads home burned dvd's very bad unless you burn the dvd movies on very expensive brand dvd's It's slow on reading and listing cd's with many files on (about 10 files or more). The only thing it does flawlessly is playing factory made dvd movies but for that single function you can get cheaper, faster and more "grown up" players. The support apartment of www.netonnet.com is not only unwilly to meet a disappointed customer with service, they also declare the complaining costumers to be fools and negligect to read promblem description as it were ment and written and they tend to remake the problems so the problems are not related to their bad working machines and all they answer is that the problems are related to home made bad burning or user errors due to wrong methods used under the burning process, even if costumers tells them that the stated problems never occur on other machines... The same story has happened to 2 of my friends that bought the same machine as I did.

CVD? $90 120 days 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename DivX XviD Comments: Not many problems. Shows DivX and Xvid perfectly, shows SubRip subtitles if you burn the .srt file together with the .avi file. Supports long filenames and folders, but in the menu you only see the first 8 characters. Has freezed a couple of times so I had to pull out the power cord to get it open, but almost all of the time it's worked like a charm. With DVDs no problems whatsoever.

CVD? $100 21 days 6 of 10 Comments: This player sucks, only good thing is that it plays all divx movies I got burned.... and it takes the srt subfiles without argue else it read dvd-r not better than an average philips player = not so good at all I payed 100$ for it, if they would raise the price 20$ and ship it with a good dvd-readfer then I would have given it 5+

CVD? $? 7 days 5 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG Chipset: MediaTek MT1389SE Comments: WARNING ! seem's to be a nice player but its capabilities to read homeburned dvd's aren't so good. I've burned on princo's and a few other brands and the player has problems reading it... Even my old philips dvd-reader is more capable in reading dvd's ! My friend has an old denver dvd-reader and it is reading all my dvd's without any problem ! It runs every divx movie I've tried and selectable subs are a great feature. Its neat, cheap and intend to be a good priceworthy player and it would have been if they would have used a better laser.

Den beter sej konstigr ibland låser sig och det går ej att spola fram för då hänger inte ljudet med när man startar igen O.S.V finns det någon upgradering till denna modell eller vad skall jag göra skall jag byta mot en sony för 899 eller????

CVD? $? 60 days 7 of 10 DivX Comments: So far played alomst everything I´ve tried, but a bit buggy, it hangs sometimes and removing the powercord is the only solution that works. The disc tray doesn´t open sometimes, seems to be mechanical problems. I will send it back for repar. Apart from that it works fine, I haven´t thought of what format the movie was, just burn and put in the player and it works. Bought Datamart dvd+r 1-8X fullface printable on www.wesellcd.com and that media doesn´t work in my player, that´s the first time it happened. Tried to burn in only 4X (not 8X as possible with that media) but still the same problem with not working in the player. My burner is Pioneer dvr109 and Nero is my Burning prog. Anyone that has the same probs with not reading discs?

CVD? $? 21 days 9 of 10 DivX Comments: Works fine. Most surprising was that is has played all divx movies I´ve put in it so far. Picture quality is great, as far as I can judge. The player has not rejected any media I´ve put in it yet, Memorex and Maxell CD-R, Verbatim CD-RW, Memorex DVD+RW, Octron DVD+R, Blank DVD+R. One thing on the downside, when installing the player it starts with Scart as output, if you wan´t to use SVHS connection as output you have to change it in the menu and to be able to see the menu you need to use scartconnection first, that could be a problem if you don´t have a scartconnection. But that´s only when installing it, after that it works fine! Very much player for little money!
