CVD? $200 3 days 6 of 10 JPG/JPEG DivX Comments: all features seem to work fine but i found the clock noisy! (may seem minor but when unit is in bedroom sounds like small alarm that matches pace with flashing dots in clock) also doesnt seem to have any memory of last played disc (again annoying if you dont watch a dvd right through and have to start again through menus!) again not the end of the world, but quality wise is great for the money. if you know of a fix for these issues then please email a reply to me!!!!

CVD? $350 7 days 9 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-RAM Comments: Excellent recorder with plenty of options, manual is not the best but have manged to get by with it and a couple of trips to the cambridge audio forums. Quality and sound are first class.

CVD? $? 210 days 9 of 10 Comments: This recorder delivers! I was looking for a budget machine with DV input and after trying 2 unknown brands with inferior components I stumbled upon this one. Don't be fooled that it uses the same GUI as other cheap recorders...the hardware is very stable and I am really happy with that. I should also mention that I can quickly record my homevideos to DVD and eventually edit the VOBs on PC. No HD? Doesn't bother me!
