i think that your problem is ,,,u must finalise the first title.otherwise u can have this problem.
i'm not sure but i think its that.
try it,,but dont shoot me if its not the good advice.
i have one and have not 1 problem with him,,,a family member has a expensiv philips dvr 77.
and have nothing but trouble's with it!!!
but yeah,,its a philips,,THE GREAT BRANDNAME,,,,who needs a name???

hello
I would like to know which brand of media disk are you guys using to record in this unit, because i only manage to record in 2.4x DVD+RW. I tried verbatim, sky and emtec in dvd+r format but the unit doesnt recognize them.
Please give me some brands, thanks!

i have a mustek r100a and i'm 100% satisfied.
for what i need him its a good device.
but yeah,,i dont feel the need to copy commercial films,simply because i have a friend who did that,,yes,DID THAT!!until somebody sayd too much to a person that wasn't so honest.a few days later he got the police on a visit at his home,,result,,house+car bye bye,,and wife divorced him because of the great financial problems.
i dont feel the need to copy commercial films,so,,i dont need a device that is sooooo great recommended on some site's.
the mustek records perfectly from tv and also from a extern dvd player,but i copy only films wich i first have recorded from tv and than maybey copy for a friend who does not have a recorder.
if i want to have a new film i pay a few €'s and than i'm not afraid that somebody will say too much to some one else.
now back to the mustek,,why should i pay double the price for,,yeah,,for what?a famous brandname like phillips,sony,jvc,,,,????no thx,,the mustek give's all i need from a recorder,good recordings,simple to work with and he looks nice too.
let others by all that pricy device's.if you want to have a recorder,if you dont need to have a flashy name like sony and if your wallet is importend to you,,by the mustek.
if you want a recorder for legal recordings you won't be cheated with him!!!!

| I've got one since several weeks. It's quite a good product, avoid bulk DVD+R, non problems at all with DVD+RW, no thrills as a DVD player and also it's a pity it hasn't an i-link connection, see ya. |

Hi,
I have also Mustek DVDR100. It is au good DVD recorder.
But " remote control " is very poor, not excellent
(sory for my very bad english )
I have record(on my pc ) 550 MP3 (of +/-80 CD Classical music) on DVD+RW. MUSTEK read all MP3 ok. With list on TV,it is possible to go to all MP3, but remote control, N° 112, 256, 337, . . .

I would like to know if there is a way to make this machine burning DVD+R at 1x or 4X, because here in Portugal is difficult to find 2.4X discs. (sorry about my English!)
In other aspects this machine works fine (2.4X discs only) and the pic quality in HQ and Standard mode are great from cable TV programas, the s-video in works fine too.

| Had a look at the one shown in the store - broken. Took a new one home - small parts rummbling inside the case.... No good start 2 defekts in one charge..... taking it back to the store now. |
