N/A 9 of 10 DivX Comments: merveilleux comme lecteur DVD en fait, une fois demonté, on s'aprecois que c'est un lecteur DVD de pc "modifé" pour la TV. J'ai juste un ptit problème avec les DVD+RW. En effet, j'essai de faire de l'authoring et a part SONIC MY DVD, j'ai rien qui marche. Mais je me demande si c'est pas plutot la marque de mon DVD+RW qui n'est pas compatible avec mon bluesky (ce sont des VERBATIM ) Si vous avez des marque de DVD vierges (format +r ou +rw) qui marche bien, merci de m'envoyé un ptit mail.

CVD? $150 N/A 8 of 10 Comments: The picture and sound quality with DVD are excellent, the manual says it doesn't play SVCD, but it does if you push Select instead of Play. The front page with chapters doesn't work under SVCD. The only problem is that sometimes on inserting a disk and closing the tray it doesn't go into load mode, but switching off and back on again resolves the problem. I have the French Carrefour version but its been discontinued and replaced. En francais: Cette lecteur peut fonctionner avec les SVCD mais il faut appuyer sur <<Select>> et non <<Play>>. Par contre les chapitres au départ ne sont pas lissibles.

CVD? $125 N/A 5 of 10 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: Is a good dvd player , it plays all the region discs and mp3s also vcd and svcd. But after 5 month of using , it start to have some problems like it doesnt give sound of the digital outputs when a vcd is playing. The most importand is that it doesnt recognize the dvds with the first enter but i have to eject and enter the disc several times in the driver. Since that price of it was so low the problems was been predictable.

N/A 9 of 10 MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: It is a perfect choice but sometimes i have this problem : when i put any kind of media it says there's no disc. I have to try 5 or 6 time before it works... It happens once a while.

I've been using it to play XSVCD and miniDVD's for many months and it reads any media brand i've tried flawlessy, even the cheapest. The picture quality is superb and the menu navigation is really good. When playing mp3s you can read the ID3 tags too. The max bitrate for miniDVD is actually 4750 Kbps (4800 works on a cd-r media, but you skip some frames when using cd-rw), while you can reach 5200 kbps when using (X)SVCDs and use any of the following resolutions: 352x288, 352x576, 480x576, 704x576, 720x576 (240 and 576 vertical if NTSC) with any aspect ratio. Tried XVCDS only up to 2700 Kbps because they're useless to me. Warning: If you use Ulead DVD movie factory or Ulead DVD workshop to make SVCD menus you should add a background audio (at least a "silent" track), otherwhise menus wont'show. This is Ulead's problem, not Bluesky's, since vcdimager made menus work fine. Last, this player is region-free too :-)

CVD? $130 N/A No rating miniDVD/cDVD Comments: J'ai déja rempli ce formulaire en parlant de problèmes de saccades en lectures de mes Minis DVD. J'ai résolu ces problèmes en capturant en MPEG2 natif type A ou B variable et en utilisant Ulead VS 6. La capture et la compression sont très lente car elles sont software et de plus il y a eu quelques pertes de frames. Je m'oriente vers une compression hardware avec la Canopus DV Storm et l'MPEG Encoder. Je donnerais les résultats lorsque j'aurais testé ma configuration. Salutations à tous! PERO HAY UNA SOLUCION... SISISISI.... grabarlos como VCDs no estandard, como CVCDs... SI FUNCIONAN!!!! es la caña. ENGLISH: BEAUTIFUL PLAYER. VERY CHEAP. IT WORKS GREAT!!! ONLY 1 ISSUE> SVCDS DONT PLAY OK. SOLUTION. BURN THEM LIKE XVCD (YES ) TRY WITH A CDRW AND GET SURPRISED !!! IT WORKS!!!

CVD? $130 N/A No rating Comments: Hy, the Bluesky seems to be identical with the SEG Hollywood, but that Player CAN NOT PLAY SVCD - I had contact to the German Site of SEG and they told me, that this Player is not designed for SVCD - however, it MAY play, but it is NOT sure. I've tried some media brand of CD-R and CD-RW and works fine in all the above format: vcd xvcd svcd minidvd Whit the authoring program ULEAD media video factory menu, audio and subtitle are perfect and without problems. My model is 2210, without "S", selling in Italy by Carrefour for 149€.
